This is an open letter of encouragement to women everywhere. No matter who you are or where you are, He loves you and has great things planned for you. Don’t listen to the enemy’s lies, and please… Don’t stop doing what you’re doing!
“I can do things you cannot, you can do things I cannot; together we can do great things.”
2 Chron. 15:7- and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.”
2 Thess. 3:13- As for you, sisters, do not grow weary in doing good.
Galatians 6:9- Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
There are going to be seasons in our lives where God has to rebuild our walls. What do I mean by this? There are some things in our lives we’ve built on solid foundation, but there are other things in our life on that are on shaky ground. When the Lord is preparing us for something or doing something in our lives, He’ll often have to tear down some walls in order to rebuild, so that our foundation is found in Him.
Psalms 119:28 (The Message) Build me up by Your Word.
Acts 20:32- “Now I commit you to God and to the Word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
In this podcast I continue talking about those things that hold us back from our dreams. The ‘what-ifs’, our negative thoughts, and our past. In this podcast I also share some of own my personal testimony. The enemy does not want us to dream because when God gives us a dream, and we step out, He gets all the glory and lives are changed. May God speak to you this week about some things He’s asking you to step out into.
Romans 8:28 (NASB)- And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
In this episode I talk about the things that hold us back from our dreams. We’ve all been given different gifts, talents, and abilities. And God will place dreams in our heart, but there are things that keep us from seeing those dreams fulfilled. This is Part 1. Enjoy!
Zechariah 4:10a (NLT)- Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin…
“Do not lose hold of your dreams or aspirations. For if you do, you may still exist but you have ceased to live.” Henry David Thoreau

In this Podcast I share a message from a women’s event I did. I share from the story about Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego found in in Daniel 3:16-28. Sometimes we have to walk through some fires, but God will walk through the fire with us and deliver us unbound and unharmed. There is a blessing in a fully surrendered life.
John 16:33-“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Have you ever noticed that sometimes things get worse before they get better? In this podcast I talk about how sometimes things worse before they get better, but going through the hard stuff is worth it! To deal with the stuff we sometimes sweep under the rug and confront uncomfortable issues so that we can be free to be all that He’s called us to be.
Hebrews 12:1- Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.

In today’s podcast I share about my crazy morning. I talk about the importance of starting your day right- in His Word. What it looks like to depend on His strength instead of trying to do things in our own strength. And when we are going through hard times, how that has the potential to lead us closer to God, not farther away, if we’ll let it.
1 Chronicles 16:11- Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.

In today’s podcast I talk about when we give from our little. The Bible story is from 1 Kings 17:7-14 about Elijah and the widow. In this story we see how God used a woman who thought she and her son were about to die because they had no food. We see God not only provided for His prophet Elijah but by the widow being obedient and using her meager offerings, the Lord multiplied what little she had and her and her son lived a long, full life.
He wants to do a miracle right in he middle of our ‘not enough’. We feel like we’re inadequate, and we have nothing to offer, but all He asks for us is to trust Him and He will provide from our ‘not enough’ places- not just for us, but for others as well.
Matthew 11:28-30 (MSG)- 28-30 “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”
Be Your Best Brave- In this podcast I share my heart on what it means to be your best brave. I meet so many brave people everyday. And the reason why many of us don’t see ourselves as brave is because we’re too busy comparing ourselves to others so our brave feels inferior. But God never meant for us to compare, but only share our brave stories. And He has given each of us unique gifts and talents so that we can be our best brave! Be encouraged today. You are braver than you think.
Joshua 1:9 CEV- I’ve commanded you to be strong and brave. Don’t ever be afraid or discouraged! I am the Lord your God, and I will be there to help you wherever you go.
He redeems our struggles. Sometimes we’re merely seeing things from a human perspective, but we need to ask God to help us to see things from His perspective. In our struggles, He not only is working on our own hearts, but will often use our struggles to help someone else.
John 16:33 (NCV)- “I told you these things so that you can have peace in me. In this world you will have trouble, but be brave! I have defeated the world.”
We all struggle. The struggles you are currently facing may seem like they are going to take you under. Sometimes the Lord doesn’t deliver us ‘from’ something, but wants to walk us through it. I hope today’s podcast is an encouragement to you!
About two years ago, the Lord put it on my heart to start a podcast. And I’ve been thinking and praying about it ever since! At the beginning of the year I felt like it was time to start. Here’s Podcast #1- Your Life is a Gift. And we hope to have them up on Itunes by next week so you can subscribe. I will start writing every Monday and Podcasting every Wednesday. This is new to me, so it is a work in progress! They will usually last between 7-10 minutes. It’s a way to get a dose of weekly encouragement, and to be challenged to be all that God has called us to be (Your best brave). So grab a cup of coffee and your journal, and enjoy! (Would love to hear your feedback- feel free to comment and share!)
